About Us

Based in Centurion, Gauteng, Elzeth Jacobs Occupational Therapists Inc provides medico-legal assessments and reports for instructing lawyers on behalf of either the plaintiff or defense.

We act as an independent witness to inform the legal process regarding the impact of injury, illness or medical negligence on a person's functional ability at home and in the educational, vocational, social and recreational spheres of life.

We are also extending our services to areas outside of the borders of Tshwane (Pretoria).

Comprehensive reports with professional content, effective and swift delivery

Our team of accomplished Occupational Therapists have hands-on experience in all areas of expertise (e.g. neurological, orthopaedic), diagnostic groups (e.g psychiatric) and age groups.

• We provide a high level of service in aid of the legal process by conducting thorough and objective assessments.
• Our excellence in providing a sound administrative service in support of our assessments, forms the cornerstone of our long-lasting professional relationship with our clients.
• We will respond on the same day of receiving a request for an assessment with an assessment date (and time), as well as an estimation of cost involved (if required).
• We have combined information technology with comprehensive data analysis and sound clinical reasoning in order to create an in-depth professional report in a fraction of the time it would generally take.
• Delivery time is five working days or less following consultation with a patient.
• Reports are compliant with the Court Directive (Gauteng Local Division, 2015 first term) where it is stated that expert reports must be in numbered paragraphs.
